You are eligible to purchase any of the plans listed below if you are:

  • A citizen of the United States, under the age of 70, traveling outside the United States for a minimum of one (1) month to a maximum of twelve (12) consecutive months.
  • A non-United States citizen, under the age of 70, traveling outside your home country for a minimum of one (1) month to a maximum of twelve (12) consecutive months.

Two graduated plans are available for anywhere from 1-12 months, and are based on the amount of coverage you need.

Explanation of terms listed above:

Emergency Evacuation: Your medical condition warrants immediate transportation from the place where you are injured or sick to the nearest hospital where appropriate medical treatment can be obtained.

Medically Necessary Repatriation: After being treated at a local hospital, your medical condition warrants transportation to your home country to obtain further medical treatment or to recover.

Transportation to join disabled member: When you are traveling alone and are hospitalized for more than seven days, economy round trip transportation to the place of hospitalization will be provided to a person chosen by you.
